Here's my second hand find of the month. Aren't they cute? I picked up a set of four of these at a local garage sale. Guess what they cost? 25 cents. For all four of them! That's just a little over a nickel a piece.
If you don't already, I encourage you to get out there and browse those garage and yard sales. You just never know what little (inexpensive) treasure you might find. And buying used is a great way to stretch those dollars while at the same time keeping less stuff from finding its way to the landfill.
Just a little tip when shopping those yard sales - go near the end of the sale. I bought these right when the previous owner was about to close her sale down. She just wanted them gone and so she offered them to me for a quarter. See Mom... sometimes the late bird does get the worm. : )
